Over the summer, construction and insurance related organizations began advocating for reform of Scaffold Law as a way to help our economy recover from the pandemic. Scaffold Law adds close to $1 billion in costs to public works projects and an estimated 7% to privately funded construction in New York each year. Reform of the Scaffold Law now would have a dramatic impact on our economy and state and local budgets. A group out of New York City put together an awesome video to prove this point.
